E2BN has provided high-speed broadband and specialist web filtering to schools and colleges for over 20 years, initially as an RBC and more recently via our subsidiary E2BN Protex Ltd. Renowned for our excellent customer service and unrivalled technical expertise, E2BN Protex Ltd has long been a preferred supplier amongst small, rural, and hard-to-reach schools as well as larger academies.
Our partnership with Talk-Straight Ltd signifies the start of a new and exciting chapter for our customers and staff. We are confident that TSL will continue our legacy of exceptional services to schools and develop and enhance those services.

Internet4schools manages the whole process of installing your new broadband service and configuring your school’s web filtering service. Your assigned project manager will keep you up to date with progress, ensuring that work proceeds smoothly without any disruption to the life of your school. Our engineers set up your broadband and configure your web filtering service to ensure you, your pupils and your staff get the best and safest online experience possible. Then, once your school has fast, safe internet access, we’ll still be on hand to help you with any related technical or filtering issues.
What we provide
-The most appropriate broadband service for your school (usually full-fibre, but FTTP and Superfast connections are also available). You buy what you need and can afford, and you can increase your bandwidth as and when required
-A failover backup line (optional but recommended by DfE)
-A firewall to prevent unauthorised external access to your network
-URL and Content web filtering (fully DfE compliant) because keeping your pupils and staff safe when they are online is an important aspect of safeguarding
-VPN (Virtual Private Network) to provide secure access between remote sites and for home access working
-Fully managed firewall and filtering, but if you want to manage these yourselves, we’ll provide access and training
-UK support with direct access to the technical support team

Because we are members of the DfE-recommended EverythingICT procurement framework, even if your procurement would reach the EU procurement threshold, you can legally buy directly from us without going through the time-consuming process of tendering.
