Choose how and when you want to learn, through face-to-face, online, or live remote training. There are also bursaries available to help your school cover the costs of your CPD.
Bursary support for CPD
Many NCCE courses come with generous bursaries for teachers working in state-funded education in England.
Computing Hubs
Want to find some local computing support?
The NCCE has 34 Computing Hubs across England. Each Hub is led by schools and colleges with excellence in teaching computing. These Hubs support schools and colleges to provide a high-quality computing education to all young people.
Your local hub will work with you to identify your computing needs and then provide a targeted programme of support to help embed this key subject in your school. Support includes high-quality CPD with generous bursaries; teaching and learning resources; the loan of physical equipment and school-to-school support.

Pedagogy
Effective pedagogy is at the heart of good teaching and learning. Successful computing teachers combine their subject knowledge with evidence-based teaching practices. Because computing is a relatively new subject, evidence of effective teaching approaches continues to emerge and evolve.
The NCCE publishes a range of materials to help you get your computing pedagogy right!
Teaching resources
The NCCE provides computing curriculum resources that include: teacher guides, progression framework, lesson plans, slides and lesson activities as well as homework ideas and assessments.
